We have designed the Pilgrim bows to look great and shoot as good as it looks. Our longbows and recurves are designed for children and adults wanting a traditional light draw weight. We custom design each model to fit the archer's draw length and poundage. Our bows are available for children ages 3 years old and up.
All models have a like design (reflex, deflex) and time has proven it to be smooth, fast and appealing in looks. We custom build our bows so appearance varies in each bow.
There are four model lengths to choose from with draw weights ranging from 9 pounds to 45 pounds. All models and weights of Pilgrim bows are in inventory. Bows are shipped on the next business day when possible.
The Pilgrim longbows have Gordon clear glass to allow the beauty of the veneer to show through. Bows are made with hard maple or bamboo core laminations. The riser uses many different wood combinations like Bacote, action wood, rosewood and more. Our risers are extremely strong and stable. All Pilgrim youth and light adult bows get horn or antler tip overlays.
Bows receive three coats of a high quality finish which is moisture resistant and also resists scratching and chipping.
All bow models are center shot and have a locator style handle which makes for a constant grip. The arrow shelf is shaped in a radius which gives the shelf feather clearance so it can be shot directly from the shelf.
Pilgrim bows come with a B-500 flemish bow string (three color), string nock set and arrow rest rug. They are available for right or left hand shooters. A right hand bow is held in the left hand and the string is pulled with the right hand. This is reversed for a left hand bow. Bow prices include federal excise taxes if applied.
Age groups used in the bow descriptions are broad guidelines and can vary depending on the physical make up and capabilities of each individual. These guide lines are given as sometimes it is not possible to measure the draw length of the archer. To determine the bow that is ideally suited for the individual it is best to determine the shooter dominant eye and measure their draw length. And then consult the table showing the approximate weight of each bow at that draw length. Our return police allows for the exchange if incorrectly selected bow.

Pilgrim Squirt

A traditional reflex-deflex limb bow measuring 34 inches nock to nock. This bow is for ages 2-4 years old younger. This one is not just a great starter bow but a keepsake too. The draw weight for this model bow is 8/10# or 11/12# @16 inches.

For ages 5 and 8 years, this reflex-deflex long bow draws approximately 14/16# or 17/19# pounds at 20 inches, and is 42 inches nock to nock.

 Pilgrim 48 Longbow 

This bow model draws approximately 18/21# or 22/26# pounds at 24 inches. It is suitable for a broad range of youth but commonly used between the ages of 7 and 12. The bow is 48 inches long with limbs that are of the reflex-deflex design.

This bow model draws from 18 to 45# pounds at 24 inches.  It is suitable for a broad range of youth but commonly used between the ages of 7 and 12.We have put a larger riser on the recurve opening the sight window. The recurve also make a great tree stand bow. If you like to stalk, this short bow is the answer. It easy to manuver through the brush.

Pilgrim 58 Longbow

This bow model is for a older archer or someone with a longer draw. It is suitable for a broad range of draw length up to 28". Draws weight approximately 29 pounds at 28" inches. Other weight available 25# to 40#. The bow is 58" inches long and limbs that are of the reflex-deflex design. B500 flemish string and horn tip overlays .Also available as a recurve. See Adult bows
